CHAMPIONS ALWAYS VIEW OPPOSITION AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GREATER HEIGHTS

Champions always view opposition as an opportunity for greater heights. the is an opposition you are facing today that is an opportunity for you to move to your greater heights.

Let us consider a fight, Goliath named himself a champion not because he won any war or battle, but he was a champion because he used every opposition as an opportunity for greater heights. (1 Samuel 17:4-10)

Let's consider the man Saul, whom in the doors of his opportunities was discouraged and defeated by opposition from the man call Goliath ( 1 Samuel 17:11) Each time opposition brings fear in your life, you will be replaced, for God will always answer His name.

Fear kept Saul and the Israelites for 40 days and night into total defeat without any solution. the question is could not Saul fight Goliath? this is Saul that defeated the Ammonites, fought the Philistines in 1 Samuel 13, His son Jonathan defeated the Philistines in 1 Samuel 14, Saul defeated all the enemies of Isreal on every side, ( 1 Samuel 14:47) but failed to face Goliath.

In this Story, a youth named David stepped into the scene the opposition that brought fright to Saul and the Israelites for 40 days and night, David saw it as an opportunity for greater heights. (1 Samuel 17:26) while Saul saw Goliath as a target so big to miss, David saw the same Goliath as a target too big not to miss. (1 Samuel 17:32-37).

I PRAY FOR YOU READING THIS ARTICLE THAT THIS MONTH OF JUNE 2019, WHAT OTHERS SAW TOO BIG TO HANDLE YOU WILL STAND AND FACE IT AS A CHAMPION IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Let's consider the manner after which the Bible introduces the 3 of them.

1) SAUL, 1 Samuel 9:1-2 / 1 Samuel 10:1
2) GOLIATH, 1 Samuel 17:4-7
3) DAVID, 1 Samuel 17:12-14 / 1 Samuel 17:32-37

What we should note here is that the man mentioned as a Champion Goliath, the Bible does not record any of Goliaths battles or victories to be named as a Champion. King Saul, on the other Hand, bears records of victories and battles won. But because of the words that came out from the mouth of Goliath, every Israelites including King Saul were afraid. But David who was not only a youth! is Biblically described as killing a lion and a bear but still considered as a youth.
